More than 850 bp pulse charging points at over 95 locations across the United States are now connected to ChargeHub’s Passport Hub. The integration gives drivers another way to find and use bp pulse chargers without adding the network’s app to their phones.
Drivers can access the chargers through ChargeHub or other participating charging services and automakers connected to Passport Hub. The platform links charging networks with those services, handling the exchange of charging-session information and payment settlement through a single connection for each operator.
In ChargeHub, drivers can select a bp pulse location and charging port, then start a session using their existing account. The app shows the price and the user’s wallet balance; funds in the ChargeHub wallet are required to begin charging. It also provides real-time availability and filters for connector type. ChargeHub’s guide says most bp pulse chargers use CCS, with a growing number offering NACS.
Drivers should check the price displayed in the app before charging. ChargeHub says its Plus subscription waives activation fees, so using an existing account may not result in the same total cost as paying through another method.
bp pulse has also recently opened physical charging sites, including 12 bays at a TravelCenters of America location in Grand Bay, Alabama, and 22 bays near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
